Joana Schneider – Otherworldly

Recently we were contracted by the Groninger Museum to transport the remarkable works of artist Joana Schneider from Amsterdam to Groningen and this was anything but a standard job! It was a logistical challenge that required using all our experience to make the “impossible” become possible with these challenging works. We used our experience, network of contacts and - above all - thought outside the box.

And we succeeded….the works of art can be viewed in the Groninger Museum from 12 April to 31 August 2025 and are more than worth a visit.

Artist Joana Schneider takes you into a world where reality and fantasy come together. Important themes in her work are change, identity and ideals of beauty. Schneider makes her sculptural textile art using old craft techniques and recycled materials. The presentation is inspired by the metamorphoses in nature. She invites you to think about how we and our world are transforming
